It really showed in the finished images which brought tears to my eyes - I didn't know I could look so good. Since this time, I have hired Marissa for family photos which were even more enjoyable and memorable. Marissa brings a fresh, yet natural focus to her art. I had such an incredible time working with Crystal on this project. This reiki session was a smaller part of a larger branding shoot we did, but I felt it deserved its own spotlight. Reiki is known to be a type of energy healing that uses gentle touch and specific placement to reduce anxiety, lower stress, induce relaxation, and improve the body's balance. Reiki encourages the body to self-heal.


To start the session, Crystal first made us some tea from her large variety of dried herbs, pulled some Oracle cards, meditated, and then got her space ready for her client. She lit the most earthy-smelling sage bundle and began her work. Crystal has such a strong passion for energy work and healing from within and it was such an honour to watch her in her element!
